I don't really know what I was expecting when I went to visit kara, I think with a name like worcester it was bound to be ghastly ... admittedly I was plesently suprised by it. It wad actually quite a nice place. In fact, it was much nicer then Birmingham.

I don't think I would recommend a visit for visiting the place but if your friends move there and invite you ... take an afternoon to walk around. There is also a pretty good coffee place there called "the Boston tea party" where I had a nice Brazilian blend. I did also stop at a restaurant called "saffron" that had a pretty amazing Orange and cranberry cheesecake.

Dear upper crust , your baguettes are not great, your breakfast sandwich is kinda dry and flavorless and, honestly, 3 quid for this? Really? I swear I would have gone to any place else if it were open. Coffers isn't bad though.

It is kinda wierd this trip, I am loving seeing my friends but it feels so different now that I don't live here. I guess maybe I don't feel a hundred percent comfortable with just hanging out at people places when they have work and lives.

I have had this kind of sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach for a while now. I guess to some extent I have had it my whole life but it really feels bad at the moment.

The best way I can think to describe it is a bit like when you are walking down a street with someone and you put your hand out to take their's and you find nothing; then you turn around and all you see is other people.

There is not much anyone can do about it, but I wanted to share the analogy with the world.

after not being able to fall back to sleep after waking up at 4 in the morning today, going to a mountain in search of snow only to be rained out and finally realising I have about 2 months left in MTP. I am finally feeling like this day in a total waste.

I have just been fed fresh baked biscuits and tea. Am now sitting watching the muppet christmas carol with one of my best friends passed out on me.

life could definitely be a lot worse.

met a guy from surrey (i think that is how it is spelled) who said he was very glad he wasn't from Leeds ...

this made me very angry, what does surrey have to offer apart from being in close proximity to London. it is a shit hole place full of toffs and twits with no character of it's own.

I slapped him down, no southern pray is going to say shit about my once home unless he is actually funny.

dam thing, on landing in the UK phone would not recognise the Sd card ... had to format it which meant I lost all the pics from last week and the hitch hitch hiking trip ..

anyway, got to see the fat man (or at lest one of them) and Amber last night, worth the trip just for that. was also great to see lizzy esp as I missed her @ Christmas.

now just "sleeping" in the front room waiting for movement.

first French only dinner party

so I had a few people around last night for dinner with loads of French conversation. I could understand! admittedly it was hardly rocket science they were talking about, but it wasn't as ghastly as I thought it would be.

maybe I will start to enjoy France after all. :)
